Jane Carrington is the founder of The Literacy House. She has over 15 years of experience working with children with language-based learning difficulties, including dyslexia, expressive and receptive language difficulties, ADD, autism and intellectual difficulties.
Jane’s research-based journey began in the US where she studied the LETRS program by Louise Moats, as well as the Orton Gillingham which underpins all MSL (Multi-Sensory Instruction). She has completed a Summer School at The Landmark School in Boston (for dyslexic students only) and has worked with hundreds of children with learning difficulties.
In Australia, Jane is an accredited MULTILIT practitioner, has a Masters of Literacy and Leadership from Melbourne University, and has advised local and interstate schools on literacy improvement within the education system.
